Ho portato il cane (per la prima volta) per un controllo generale perchè non era molto in forma, è venuto fuori che infatti le analisi del sangue erano totalmente sballate: cane anemico e con i globuli bianchi alle stelle. Per due mesi di visite, non solo non è riuscito (anzi, non si è mai interessato) a trovare la causa, ma ha continuato a farci ripetere analisi del sangue (perchè prima il macchinario diceva fosse rotto, poi funzionante) facendoci perdere tempo e soldi. Questa storia finisce con il mio cane portato d'urgenza in un altro ambulatorio durante le feste perchè la sua salute era totalmente degenerata dopo due mesi di nulla. Aveva una pancreatite, peritonite e versamento addominale con emorragia, infezione che andava avanti da mesi e che poteva essere curata dall'inizio con una semplice terapia antibiotica. For two months of visits, not only did he fail (indeed, he never cared) to find the cause, but he continued to have us repeat blood tests (because before the machine he said was broken, then working) making us waste time and money. This story ends with my dog rushed to another clinic during the holidays because his health had totally deteriorated after two months of nothing. He had pancreatitis, peritonitis and abdominal effusion with hemorrhage, an infection that had been going on for months and could be cured from the start with simple antibiotic therapy.
