โ โ โ โ โ Horribly rude man who works and/or owns the place. Yells at you to move, even if you are looking at his store. There is no reason at all to treat people so disrespectfully, and since his store sells what hundreds of other stores sell, I see absolutely no reason to patron this establishment. Not surprisingly, there were zero customers buying anything from him.

โ โ โ โ โ We are visiting Florence for 1 month and found Baroni Mears the 1st day. The staff is wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. We always buy our meats and cheeses for antipasti at home (our Florence apartment).

โ โ โ โ โ The rudest people I have encountered in Italy. My husband was standing in front of their shop for just a couple minutes and the man starting yelling at him saying he was blocking business. My husband started to take a look at their products and the man said he didnt want to sell to him. Someone should tell the horribly rude people that it's a market and people will sometimes stand in front of his shop. This place deserves zero business

โ โ โ โ โ This shop told us we could bring home meats to the USA. That be a NOPE! Donโt listen to them. They just want your money. Everything else is safe (wine, cheese, jam) but NO MEAT! Donโt make the mistake we did! Other than that itโs a nice shop.

We were fortunate to have a private tasting for four people. It included several cheese but the best was the "Red Cow" parmesan. The different Balsamic vinegars were outstanding. It is a little hit and miss bringing proscuitto into the US. Sometimes they have allowed and sometimes not. But the cheese and balsamic, olive oil and condiments are great. The horn salad set was very nice. The owners were incredibly nice. Like most Italians once you have a connection they are overwhelmingly nice.
THis is a highly recommended place and you can go upstairs for inexpensive high quality foods.

โ โ โ โ โ Incredible stuff! We bought some gorgeous bull horn knives, white truffle honeys, specialty salts and amazing pecorino cheese and truffles here. This is the best shop on the main level and not to be missed. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and we will return again our next trip to Florence!

The owners, Alessandro and Paola Baroni are super incredible and they have everything you need for italian cuisine and more....my fave was the sparkling Rose Prossecco and the proccuitto sliced from the bone!
NOT to be missed in beautiful Florence!
