★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personalmente l'ho trovato chiuso ma essendo una chiesa rupestre sicuramente ha storie incredibili da raccontare fra gli abitanti e i pellegrini diretti a Roma.
Personally I found it closed but being a rock church it certainly has incredible stories to tell among the inhabitants and pilgrims heading to Rome.

Non sono credente, ma a maggio è una tappa obbligatoria, tutto il paese, ed anche chi non ci abita più, ma è legato a Vitorchiano, raggiunge il santuario a piedi per fare la cosiddetta "poggiata" e tutte le famiglie del paese si ritrovano per un "pic nic" nei prati delle vicinanze!
Atmosfera di festa in cui i bambini, e non solo, si divertono anche a giocare spensierati a rincorrere un pallone o a correre nei prati!
Il luogo in sé è fuori mano e raggiungibile solo per strade di campagna o a piedi da Vitorchiano! Permettendo anche di avere una vista inedita del paese che sia staglia immutato sugli speroni di peperino!

I am not a believer, but in May it is an obligatory stop, the whole town, and even those who no longer live there, but are linked to Vitorchiano, reach the sanctuary on foot to make the so-called "poggiata" and all the families of the town meet for a "picnic" in the nearby meadows!
Party atmosphere in which children, and not only, also have fun playing carefree, chasing a ball or running in the meadows!
The place itself is out of the way and can only be reached by country roads or on foot from Vitorchiano! Also allowing you to have an unprecedented view of the country that is silhouetted unchanged on the spurs of peperino!
