San Francesco d'Assisi passando in questo luogo appose il "Tau" (segno di salvezza [T]) che si può vedere affrescato all'interno. Interessante la lettura della tettonica che ha deformato le rocce calcaree. Superb place of worship of medieval anchorism. Inside there are 12th century frescoes. Da vedere assolutamente, magari anche solo per fermarsi un attimo e immortalarlo in delle foto. Inserito in uno splendido contesto con vista panoramica su Cottanello, in cima ad una Rocca, e sul paesaggio naturale circostante.
