Interesting Roman site. You can walk troguh the site for free: the view from the top is amazing (you can see all the coast). The ticket for the musuem is just 2 euro, it deserves a visit.

So much more than expected. Truly mind boggling. The wall construction system itself is unbelievable: how did they build that on top of this hill, thousands of feet from the water below?!!

Amazing place. Polygonal walls are not Roman. The same design can be found in South America.

Incredible Roman settlement from 300 BC with amazing views on the sea. Find the access to the ancient water reservoir, quite an impressive vaulted space! There is also a small but interesting archeological museum you should pay a visit to, remarkable sculptures and Roman objects found on the site.

If you are in the area a great educational stop. Walk among the ancient ruins that have been partially excavated. The cost for the museum is only 2€ and well worth it to get a better history of the site. In early October we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. The descriptions of the various areas are in several languages including English. Very informative. The sense of history is immense and you can get a feeling for what it was like to live in the BCE.

Very kind, well educated staff, enthusiastic to tell about the museum. The site is amazing with layers of history, some of which make you question the accepted account of history.

Amazing how this city shows a highly advance engineering in construction and water management. There are many reservoirs, channels and also terracota pipes that shows how important was the rain water for the survival. I was in shock when I first saw the pattern in the walls very similar to the ones in Machu Picchu and Tihuanaco in PerΓΊ.
