Di una bellezza avvolgente!
Sentieri segnalati benissimo e percorsi che conducono in modo non invasivo e ben contestualizzato.
Il muschio di un verde vivissimo, i roccioni nella faggeta patrimonio Unesco, adagiati nel foliage rosso, la torre di Chia che ha stregato Pasolini... Sono solo alcuni dei tanti dettagli che lasciano senza fiato.
Unica cosa che stranisce è essere circondati da tante persone, che si disperdono e sbucano da ogni dove nel monte di sabato o domenica: un po' surreale

Very well marked trails and paths that lead in a non-invasive and well-contextualized way.
The bright green moss, the rocks in the Unesco heritage beech forest, nestled in the red foliage, the Chia tower that bewitched Pasolini ... These are just some of the many details that leave you breathless.
The only thing that is strange is being surrounded by so many people, who disperse and emerge from all over the mountain on Saturday or Sunday: a bit surreal

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A circa 1000 metri di altezza, si trova questa incredibile faggeta, patrimonio UNESCO. Il paesaggio è suggestivo, gli alti alberi dominano agglomerati di poderosi massi di trachite, scagliati dall'antico vulcano Cimino, estinto circa 800.000 anni fa. Da qui è possibile percorrere dei sentieri, segnalati dal CAI di Viterbo, sia a piedi che in mountain bike.
At about 1000 meters high, there is this incredible beech forest, a UNESCO heritage site. The landscape is suggestive, the tall trees dominate agglomerations of mighty trachyte boulders, thrown by the ancient Cimino volcano, extinct about 800,000 years ago. From here it is possible to follow paths, indicated by the CAI of Viterbo, both on foot and by mountain bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely spot for a hike. The walk to the top of Monte Cimino doesn't take very long from the car park (which is very large), and all trees and shade combined with a lovely breeze made for sweet relief from the heat. There are other trails for walking as well. Worth a visit if you want a nice place to wander round for a bit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful UNESCO recognised ancient beech woodland at the top of Monte Cimino. Lots of walking routes up (I walked from Soriano on a well-signed path from the centre). You can also drive almost to the top and park in the heart of the Faggeta where there is also a restaurant
