Ennesima riprova che la cultura in Abruzzo non è considerata per niente e soprattutto che gli uffici pubblici sono gestiti malissimo. Se fossi venuta da lontano? Bravo sindaco! Today Friday 8 October at 18.30 found the museum closed and without any staff. It's a shame! Yet another proof that culture in Abruzzo is not considered at all and above all that public offices are badly managed. What if I came from afar? Good mayor!

R	Rosanna Mastrantonio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa estate molto particolare, per me rimarrà collegata ad un piccolo grande capolavoro: la mostra " L' Abruzzo in miniatura " ospitata dal 26 Agosto 2020 nelle sale del Museo Michetti di Francavilla al mare ( CH ) . Passeggiando per i due piani dell'esposizione si può percepire il sapore di una società antica e rurale ammirando i luoghi più iconici d'Abruzzo riprodotti in miniatura, tutti eseguiti a mano da artisti vari e realizzati in legno, pietra e cemento. Nei 100 lavori finora realizzati si ritrovano monumenti, fortezze, palazzi antichi e paesaggi naturali ( come un tratto del fiume Tirino a Bussi o i Trabocchi di Vasto ) . Ogni manufatto è caratterizzato dall'essere fedele riproduzione dell'originale con particolare attenzione ai dettagli e alle peculiarità di ciascuno di essi. All'entrata si è accolti dalla riproduzione del " Guerriero di Capestrano " ; da qui inizia il viaggio alla scoperta delle bellezze sparse su tutto il territorio della regione e riunite negli spazi della mostra. Un'altra piacevole scoperta è stata la riproduzione della " Moneta Italica " di Corfinium ( AQ ) risalente al 90 A.c. Per la prima volta in una moneta viene riportato il nome ' ITALIA " intesa come l'identificazione del territorio abitato dalle tribù che si erano ribellate al dominio di Roma. È una mostra veramente interessante perché permette, in una sola mattinata, di vedere i luoghi più caratteristici d'Abruzzo trasmettendo anche gran parte delle emozioni che si avrebbero osservando i posti reali in quanto ogni manufatto è stato contestualizzato con l'ambiente che lo circonda nella realtà. This very special summer, for me, will remain connected to a small great masterpiece: the exhibition "Abruzzo in miniature" hosted from 26 August 2020 in the rooms of the Michetti Museum in Francavilla al mare (CH). Walking through the two floors of the exhibition you can feel the flavor of an ancient and rural society admiring the most iconic places in Abruzzo reproduced in miniature, all hand-made by various artists and made of wood, stone and concrete. In the 100 works carried out so far, monuments, fortresses, ancient buildings and natural landscapes are found (such as a stretch of the Tirino river in Bussi or the Trabocchi di Vasto). Each artifact is characterized by being a faithful reproduction of the original with particular attention to the details and peculiarities of each of them. At the entrance you are greeted by the reproduction of the "Warrior of Capestrano"; from here begins the journey to discover the beauties scattered throughout the region and gathered in the exhibition spaces. Another pleasant discovery was the reproduction of the "Italic Coin" of Corfinium (AQ) dating back to 90 BC. For the first time in a coin the name 'ITALIA' is reported as the identification of the territory inhabited by the tribes that had rebelled against the dominion of Rome. It is a truly interesting exhibition because it allows, in a single morning, to see the most characteristic places of Abruzzo, also transmitting most of the emotions that would be experienced by observing the real places as each artifact was contextualized with the environment that surrounds it in the reality.

Currently the MuMi hosts the interesting exhibition "Abruzzo in miniature" where I discovered the existence of beautiful monuments of my region that I did not know existed and that I plan to go and visit live.
