La chiesetta rappresenta sicuramente una perla da cogliere nell'interessantissima passeggiata per via Giulia , via che già rappresenta un archetipo del barocco.La sua architettura viene concepita da Carlo Rainaldi, uno dei maestri operanti nella seconda metà dei seicento che fu autore anche dell'altare maggiore. Commissionata dalla Confraternita del Suffragio, la fraternità degli oranti per le anime sofferenti in purgatorio. All'interno segnaliamo tra le altre interessanti tele , la volta dipinta da Nicola Berrettoni, I quadri laterali di Giuseppe Chiari. Merita sicuramente una ritemprante sosta .

The church certainly represents a pearl to be grasped in the very interesting walk on Via Giulia, a street that already represents an archetype of the Baroque. Its architecture was conceived by Carlo Rainaldi, one of the masters operating in the second half of the seventeenth century who was also the author of the altar greater. Commissioned by the Brotherhood of Suffrage, the fraternity of the prayers for suffering souls in purgatory. Inside, among other interesting paintings, the vault painted by Nicola Berrettoni, Giuseppe Chiari's side paintings. It is definitely worth a refreshing stop.
