Interesting place where you can learn a lot about the history of Rome. I recommend visiting before you go see all the main attractions.

Amazing introduction into the history of Rome! It made it easier to imagine when visiting Forum romanum and it enables one to understand and appreciate the rich history of that city.

If you need a quick catch up on the Roman history then this is the place to go. They have a 30 minutes show that makes history fun and tells all about how Rome went from being just seven bare hills to when it became an empire. In addition to this they have four rooms with holographic shows about "important" buildings. They were a bit "hit and miss" and didn't include the Colloseum, the Pantheon or the Trevi Fountain. Would still recommend.

I highly recommend for families. Great 3D and movie presentation. I wish I'd brought the kids here first to help them recognize some of the monuments we'd been seeing. They loved it, high praise. Easy to get to, no lines, I expected it to be busier but it was plenty quiet.

Amazing, we loved it so much. You can experience the true history of Rome. You learn a lot and it is very useful when you see the actual places. Δ°f you have time, go ahead and check the place. People who worked there was also extremely nice.

A very informative show and experience told through a movie, light effects and 3d models. The movie talks through how Rome was formed and it's origins, the Roman empire, renaissance and other pivotal Roman history moments. We came here on our first day in Rome and it gave us good idea's of what to look out for and appreciate what has changed in Rome. My son of 8 really enjoyed the 3d cinema experience and the models. Staff were friendly and helpful.

THAT WAS SO COOL!!! The entire experience was awesome, staff was kind and courteous, the technology in the holograms was stunning, the history was pertinent and laid out well (I was a history teacher in the past so I look for those things), and it only cost €12.50, worth every penny!! Only took just under an hour, real easy to fit into your plans, don't miss out

A really different, interesting and innovative way to learn about the history of Rome - '4D' models which show how the buildings and landscape of Rome has changed over time, with a headset to narrate in your chosen language. The 4D model experience of the Roman Forum in particular gives a different and much clearer perspective on the scale and layout of the key buildings than simply walking around the ruins alone can. We visited late morning on a weekday, it was very quiet and we were able to go straight into each of the model experiences, and see the (really amazing) final experience without any waiting. I can imagine that at busier times there may have been a bit of a wait for the final experience, which lasts for circa 30 mins. Overall we were there for a little over an hour, and it was well worth the time. Although not cheap I considered it reasonable value given the uniqueness of the experience and the amount of effort that must have gone into producing the content.
