Bello solo che ci sia una targa che ne ricorda l'esistenza. La polveriera ė a forma piramidale nella sua parte superiore, dalla terrazza di Colle Aperto la si vedeva isolata a metà collina, oppure da via della Boccola dove c'è la targa con le info. Aggiornamento marzo 2021finalmente hanno dato una bella pulita e la possiamo ammirare di nuovo. The powder magazine is no longer visible due to the state of neglect in which it pours, it is totally surrounded by vegetation. Nice only that there is a plaque that remembers its existence. The powder magazine is pyramid-shaped in its upper part, from the terrace of Colle Aperto it could be seen isolated in the middle of the hill, or from via della Boccola where there is the plaque with the info. Update March 2021 finally gave it a good clean and we can admire it again.

Attualmente è in fase di sistemazione (per aprirla alle visite?). Non si può avvicinarsi né entrare. Comunque è stata perlomeno ripulita dalla vegetazione selvatica che la avviluppava e la si può ammirare sia frontalmente (dalla rete) che salendo all'Orto Botanico. Ha un'architettura militare assai particolare: parallelepipeda nel corpo inferiore e piramidale in quello superiore. Un tempo era ricoperta di piombo, che fu asportato durante il lungo periodo di abbandono. Sulla facciata, sopra l'ingresso, vi sono due stemmi, completamente dilavati. Vi era anche la data di costruzione, ma non è più leggibile. L'edificio era una delle tre polveriere di Città Alta, realizzate dai Veneziani tra il 1580 e il 1590. Una memoria davvero interessante! The 4-star rating is based on the historical testimony it represents, but I would have given more if it were valued. It is currently in the process of arranging (to open it to visits?). It cannot be approached or entered. However, it has at least been cleared of the wild vegetation that enveloped it and can be admired both from the front (from the net) and going up to the Botanical Garden. It has a very particular military architecture: parallelepiped in the lower body and pyramidal in the upper one. It was once covered with lead, which was removed during the long period of neglect. On the façade, above the entrance, there are two coats of arms, completely washed out. There was also the date of construction, but it is no longer legible. The building was one of the three powder cases in the Upper Town, made by the Venetians between 1580 and 1590. A truly interesting memory!
