★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic Italian piazza. Lots of small shops and places to eat. Be sure not to miss the churches in the back. Not terribly crowded but it can be tricky to find a place to sit down to eat or take a break from walking. I’d recommend the steps of the library. A highlight of Bergamo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic place in the Citta Alta of Bergamo. There are restaurants (Lalimentari is one) and historic churches. This is the center of the action in the Citta. The walking street through the Citta is on one side of the Piazza.
