★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible officers. Terribly rude and impolite. They DO NOT want to help even if it is their duty. They expect everyone to know Italian no matter what. Even if you have the right documents, they will create an issue for no reason. This is my second year applying to the same questura and I've had bad experiences both times.
Language is a barrier, I understand. But you cannot expect to know fluent italian in such a short duration. Also when it is not your primary concern.
When such a large number of temporary residents always apply, why can't the questura appoint someone who knows a common language like English? This will solve most issues.
The officers look like they are in a dead end job with no job satisfaction and are taking out their anger and frustration on students and other poor non-italian speaking migrant who come here for education and what not.
I don't know how to take this further and make sure others don't have to face such indirect racism from such petty people who live off of torturing and harrasing others.
They really need better training at understanding and helping people who come to them, rather than screaming at them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most organized questura, there are vending machines and printing machines inside, you can take a coffee or water while waiting, or use the printing machine if you need. Most officers are nice, they tried to speak English if you don’t speak Italian. If you follow the rules and get things prepared, all process will be very smooth.
