β β β β β Good place for art lovers, ticket was 16 Euro/ Person but you can enjoy sitting outside and have some coffee or ice-cream. Stay away from wrist band selling persons.

β β β β β This is a palace was built in the 1400's and updated a few times, most recently by Napoleon. The rooms were fairly small compared to newer palaces such as Versailles. It is a huge place filled with a lot of "modern" art, meaning post Renaissance but it was not the contemporary art I expected. There were some impressionists but most of the art was older than that.
Sadly there wasn't much left over from the days of the Medici.
I was conflicted between feeling that I wanted it to look like it did in the 1400's and what it looked like now.
I was also disappointed with the art currently displayed in the palace. I guess all the good stuff is over at the Uffizi.
That being said, the Boboli Garden surrounding the palace is beautiful and a wonderful place to spend time.

β β β β β Pretty amazing to think this was 1 family's palace. So much history here too. I'd recommend seeing it. I bought a combo ticket to the Uffizi that also gets you in here and to Boboli Gardens. You must go to the Uffizi first, but then you have 5 days to see the other places.

β β β β β Loved the modern art museum on the top floor. Great collection and wonderfully simple explanation of who art developed in and around Florence in the 19th century. The palace was nice but the art gallery was the highlight.

β β β β β Beautiful palace.
The art and the way it is presented is beautiful.
Everything went smooth, whether it is the ticket office, or the security gate.
The staff were friendly as well.
The place has a nice cafeteria as well.
Enjoyed the experience.
Would recommend it to others.

β β β β β The palace itself is big with many amazing rooms and full of paintings from floor to ceiling. We spent 1.5 hours exploring the Boboli gardens and then 1.5 hours exploring the Palazzo. We could not take Audio Guides which is unfortunate because we had spent a big amount of time reading the plaques instead. But It was very nice overall. Thereβs a cafe in the courtyard.

β β β β β Amazing museum, next to Boboli Gardens, if you get 5 day pass, is included in the ticket. I loved this place more than Uffizi museum, also run out of time to check completely whole place, definitely worth a visit

β β β β β Beautiful palace and art on the inside museum, I highly recommend a visit. I also recommend that anyone visiting should buy their tickets online in order to skip lines and make everything easier. I bought mine a month before visiting and was very pleased to know that the date I had selected was the first Sunday of the month, which basically means free entry to every museum. The good part was that they refunded my tickets everywhere and I could still skip the lines and enter the locations super fast.
The gardens were pretty but nothing I would definitely recommend. We visited after a rainy day so that was also part of why I didn't like it so much. Still, it's a nice place to go to for the first time.
Every staff member was professional and helpful.
Expect a gigantic place full of rooms with beautiful art from top to bottom!
