The Boboli Gardens in Florence, is home to a group of sculptures dating back to the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, in addition to containing some Roman ruins. The Boboli Gardens in Florence are located behind the Pitti Palace, the main residence of the Medici rulers of Florence between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries. The park is one of the most famous tourist places in Florence.

A beautiful garden with an amazing view on the top. There's an admission fee. It is worth it to check this place out than the palace that is along with the garden.

The Boboli Gardens is a historical park of the city of Florence that was opened to the public in 1766. Originally designed for the Medici, it represents one of the first and most important examples of the Italian garden, which later served as inspiration for many European courts. The large green area is a real open-air museum with statues of various styles and periods, ancient and Renaissance that are distributed throughout the garden. It also has large fountains and caves, among them the splendid Buontalenti grotto built by the artist, architect, and sculptor Bernardo Buontalenti between 1536 and 1608.

Nice and well kept park. The tickets for students (18-24 years old) cost 2 euros. Many entrances are closed because of covid. The park is closed on Mondays! Right now many parts are under construction and the cafe there is also closed.

One of the most enchanting and fascinating places in Florence. Large and architecturally magnificent garden in the middle of the center of Florence. Incredible history and one of the greatest tourist attractions in the entire city, totally deserves a visit. Be aware of the terrain, bring comfy shoes and be also aware of the weather, I suggest going on sunnier days and of course, not right after it has rained. MUST SEE IN FLORENCE THOUGH

For those that consider skipping this, I would recommend adding it to your agenda. It’s an absolutely incredible β€˜back yard’. It rivals Versailles. I would recommend planning to spend 1-2 hours in order to experience it. It is open on Monday, when most of the museums, including Pitti Palace, are closed.

A beautiful park with a wide variation of greenery, accompanied by diverse architecture of historical sites and sculptures. The park is massive so it’s perfect for a stroll to get some steps in with the fresh air. The trees put you in an ancient environment making it extremely exciting to walk around

This is a must do when in Florence! This garden/park is stunning. The way is well maintained and the beautiful statues around as well as other lots of details makes this place absolutely worth to visit. My daughter loved it too. We stopped in the park to rest a little and was mesmerized by the surroundings.
