One of the many squares (piazza) in Rome. It has a beautiful fountain shaped as a boat, a very high obelisk and stairs (Scalinata) leading to a cathedral on top of them. There is a nice coffee shop / bar on the top of the stairs which has a nice view of Rome. Sunset has nice colors if you see it on the top of the stairs. The land around the fountain used to be Spanish ground hence the name Piazza di Spagna (Square of Spain) and the church was French. Nice place that you should visit but there are more beautiful squares in Rome. There's no place to eat on the square but there are nice places on the small cobbled roads around.

It is a nice place to walk with friends, the stores are luxury brands. In the stairs there is a lot of police guards and they won’t let you sit down or eat something while being there. In my view is just a spot to walk by, nothing really special in this place.

A very famous square in Rome, the Spanish steps. There are lots of shops and cafes nearby, as well as the most up-market fashion street in Rome. There is a beautiful church on the top of the stairs with a beautiful view of Rome. Be careful, as there are many thieves and dangerous street vendors, who may rob you, especially when there are large crowds…

Nice place to visit, you can go upstairs and see the panorama view to the small but beatiful streets of Rome. The sad part its that there come a lot of vendors that are trying to sell you flowers or water or beg for money. You need to be careful of pickpockets also. Really nice place to visit for a complete trip in Rome. I also Recomand the Train Station to reach Piazza Spagna. Have fun and enjoy your trip.

This is the Rome that people expect to see, or at least I did. Like in the movies; the streets were beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. High end stores and cute narrow alleys filled with restaurants. This area of Rome is a bit more expensive but worth the pass through.

Classic stop in the historic circuit through open air squares and fountains in Rome. This site attracts many visitors during the day and climbing the steps to see the square and watch people passing by is a nice experience. Despite the crowds, it is a good area just to breath a little and get a feeling about Rome.

A nice stop to make in Rome having a quick cup of coffee sitting on the Spanish steps while admiring the view of the most popular brands of fashion. Over crowded despite the Covid-19 restrictions. A great place to go for shopping if you are up to it.

If it’s summer or winter you will enjoy visiting this Piazza. An open area with Spanish steps beside and small fountain, but it’s amazing. The Surrounding area is amazing. Coffee shops and other big brands.
