Attenzione i bambini troppo piccoli, anche se al momento possono entrare, se rumorosi o frignanti infastidiscono la guida. Very interesting to visit also in consideration of the very low cost .... All'entrata si viene muniti di un caschetto , si procede poi per un primo tratto a piedi e poi con un trenino e di nuovo a piedi. Durante tutto il tragitto la guida spiega non solo le strutture e l'attività della miniera ma anche i ruoli dei minatori. Si esce percorrendo un altro tratto con il trenino. Il percorso è facile e non stancante, in alcuni punti bisogna abbassare la testa ma non è nulla di impossibile. Avevamo fatto la Forest camp card (acquistata presso un Infopoint di Tarvisio) che consiglio perché permette di avere la gratuità su alcune escursioni, la telecabina monte Lussari, il bob su rotaia di Tarvislandia, il parco geominerario ed il museo, ed altro. La miniera è davvero immensa, peccato che ne sia visitabile una minima parte. In alcuni punti si deve camminare leggermente chini, a causa dell’altezza, la guida spiega molto bene tutto quello che era il funzionamento e la storia della miniera. Carino anche il fatto che si salga su un trenino per percorrere un tratto di miniera, esperienza che potrebbe piacere anche a bambini. La miniera è piuttosto umida consiglio di indossare vestiti adatti. We visited the mine a few days ago. We had made the Forest camp card (purchased at an Infopoint in Tarvisio) which I recommend because it allows you to get free on some excursions, the Mount Lussari cable car, the Tarvislandia rail bobsleigh, the geomineral park and the museum, and more. The mine is truly immense, it is a pity that only a small part of it can be visited. In some places you have to walk slightly bent down, due to the height, the guide explains very well all that was the operation and history of the mine. Also nice is the fact that you get on a train to travel a stretch of mine, an experience that could also be enjoyed by children. The mine is quite humid I recommend wearing suitable clothes.
