★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect find - a little place with great food, lovely service, unobtrusive jazz playing and extremely reasonable pricing. The chef is Sicilian, so the caponata is special. The more Tuscan tagliolini with black truffles was exquisite. Must go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Lucchesian restaurant with many local specialities. Every dish we ordered was really good, but also a little bit saltless. Better than having too much though. The service was nice and friendly. I had the feeling that not many tourists find this place, what is really refreshing in the main travel time. I wish I could give 4,5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy restaurant with good food and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal very much. It gets a slight deduction from 5 to 4 stars because of the techno music they were playing on the sound system in the restaurant. It really did not fit the place or the atmosphere. Also, server forgot to inform us that the plate with the lasagna was very hot, so we burned our fingers. So be careful! Other than that, a good place to eat while in Lucca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was very delicious, but taking a star off because the menu system meant really long waiting times as there is only one handwritten chalkboard to go around the whole restaurant. Quite a wait if you happen to enter the restaurant at the same time with 4 other tables.
