★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiters were very hospitable. For someone from another country, the place was an authentic italian restaurant experience. The Tiramisu and the Wild boar sauce Pasta are a must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved it there. The staff is super friendly and the food quality is stellar. The menu is local and traditional, which is why they don't have many vegetarian (or vegan) options.
The place is stunning and super comfy but keeping it classy and it is in the heart of Florence. They have two rooms inside and an outside area with umbrellas. Overall it was very clean.
Would have been 5 stars if they had more veggie options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad service and a rip off. They charged us 10 Euros for a single litter of water that came in an already open reusable water container that had no label on which has clearly been reused. Service was also bad. It’s a restaurant for locals and not travelers. They gave complementary glasses of Prosecco and a better bread basket and gave the locals over all better service. The other Americans in the restaurant also received bad service. Furthermore they were not Covid friendly and sat everyone on top of each other. Tables weren’t even a foot away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place. Typical Tuscany Osteria, very well located, nearby the Uffizi museum, good food (I suggest mix of crostini and gnocchi alla gricia with truffle) and good wine (Chianti) at an honest price. I really enjoyed the dinner here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location and ambiance. Everything was going great until the veal ossobuco was served. It was all bone and gristle. Inedible. I tried to bring it to the waiter's attention but I don't think he understood me. Sorta killed the whole experience for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best spot in Florence for the iconic Florentine steak! I ordered the pasta and mushroom dish pictured and my husband ordered the Florentine steak which we shared. It was the best steak I ever had, and the pasta was delicious as well. The staff was very polite and attentive, not trying to rush us out the door but also not slow in bringing the bill when we were ready. We also received complementary champagne and limoncello.
