★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This food truck is where I decided to try the famous Florentine Lampredotto sandwich for the first time. I am a fan of tripe and tripe soups found in other cultures so was naturally curious to try the tripe sandwich offered in Florence. Went ahead and ordered my sandwich, which was made to order and served pipping hot. The taste was heavenly! The combination of soft break, tender tripe, and a special green basil souce really made this sandwich special. I tried Lampredotto on a number of occasions in different places, but Chiosco del Lampredotto still ranks at the top of my list.
