That’s the old place where it’s supposed to be the best and most authentic Lampredotto. Sometimes there is a bit of wait but worth it if you are down for a little challenge of eating this fiorentina specialty. Very cheap too.

If you need a little break from the down town tour in Firenze, you can definitely stop by in this little and hidden place. The lampredotto sandwich, among with a few coccoli and a good glass of wine are the perfect 15 min pit-stop for lunch. Staff is very friendly. There are only a few seats available though. That could be improved.

Easily the best sandwiches Florence! Super fast, fresh ingredients, friendly staff and every sandwich was the same price (4 euro) regardless of ingredients. Rare to find something so delicious that doesn't compromise quality for trying to bleed the tourist dry. Had the porchetta, the tuna, the ham & pate and the fried bread balls (coccoli fritti)... Will be back tomorrow for the lampredotto & trippa. Keep up the great work guys!

These guys have it right. Extremely friendly, great food and really low prices. The crew obviously loves their jobs and are extremely friendly. The food is delicious and you can get more regular sandwiches or some real Tuscan treats. Definitely worth a stop.

Criminally cheap, this place has some of the best sandwiches in the known universe. The lampredotto is just phenomenal. Plus they have local craft beer in the fridge.

WOW! Hole in the wall, literally. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Salami with Gorgonzola and tomatoes was superb. Just go, you will not be disappointed. The bread is on another level.

First time visiting Florence and couldn’t leave without trying the traditional street food, “tripe” panino. Basically, it consists of boiled cow’s stomach that is chopped up and seasoned, bunged between bread. We ordered two of them. The first with a green sauce (I think it’s called verde and has garlic and parsley in it) and the second with a tomato sauce which we accompanied with chilli (great for those who love spicy dishes). Both of them were very tasteful and even though the employee couldn’t speak English well, he did his best to explain the menu to us and help us choose what to eat. Last but not least, it must have been the most budget friendly food we ate in Italy. We definitely recommend this for a true street food experience in Florence and next time we’ll also try one of the other panini offered there. Four stars because we don’t have a comparison measurement regarding the flavor.
