★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se encuentra situado en la placita de Largo Taragio, habiendo sido erigido durante el siglo XVIII como lugar de culto para la confraternidad de discípulas de Santa Catalina de Alejandría, asociación religiosa fundada a finales de la Edad Media en Sestri Levante. Presenta una modesta fachada con tejado a dos aguas, en la que sobresale un rosetón situado sobre la puerta. El interior es muy austero, conservando en la bóveda un fresco del siglo XVIII que representa el martirio de Santa Catalina de Alejandría. También podemos ver dos estandartes procesionales así como un Crucificado del siglo XVI, un par de figuras de la Virgen, de los siglos XVIII y XX, y dos lienzos: La Piedad y La Presentación de María al Templo con San Juan Bautista, ambas del siglo XVIII. En la parte posterior de la iglesia se abre una plaza desde la que podemos disfrutar de unas magníficas vistas de la costa de Cinque Terre.
It is located in the square of Largo Taragio, having been erected during the eighteenth century as a place of worship for the confraternity of disciples of St. Catherine of Alexandria, religious association founded at the end of the Middle Ages in Sestri Levante. It has a modest façade with a gabled roof, in which a rose window stands above the door. The interior is very austere, preserving in the vault an 18th century fresco representing the martyrdom of Saint Catherine of Alexandria. We can also see two processional banners as well as a Crucified of the sixteenth century, a pair of figures of the Virgin, the eighteenth and twentieth centuries, and two canvases: The Piety and The Presentation of Mary to the Temple with Saint John the Baptist, both of the century XVIII. At the back of the church there is a square from which we can enjoy magnificent views of the Cinque Terre coast.

The center and heart of the town of Corniglia, which, unlike the other towns of the Cinque Terre, is perched on the mountain instead of the sea. It is mandatory to visit this square if you reach this village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome and tiny Largo Taragio square in front of the churge oratory. It's the main square of Corniglia (Largo Taragio). This local is very pleasant to relax at Bar Matteo in the shade of the trees and sunshades.
