Pesto class was AWESOMEEEE. Do it. The views are incredible, the staff is excellent. It may seem expensive at first glance but you get a one-of-a-kind experience, a filling lunch of meat & cheese, and plenty of wine (I think at least a bottle). Oh, and a souvenir apron! Simone (owner who runs the class) and JoJo (top notch waiter) made the experience!!

Overall thats a good place. If you don't mind waiting at least 2 hours to eat inside, you will compensate it with a lunch and good views. Service is excellent. Food is surprisingly cheaper than expected although quality is really average. I would recommend to reduce quantity of food and improve its quality (for example bread and ham)

We loved getting wine and an appetizer here!! The views are amazing and the service was quick. 18 euro for two wines, 2 meats, bread, and cheese! Would definitely recommend

Our experience at Nessun Dorma was hands down one of our favorite parts of our trip to Italy. We stayed in Manarola for three nights, and we went to Nessun Dorma all three days we were there- that’s how great the view, food and staff were. Let’s start with the first thing you need to know: download the app. Yes, there is an app and it is vital you download it in order to not waste your day and to get in. There is no call ahead or reservation system it’s either download the app and see where you are in the queue waiting to get in or get a QR code from the restaurant. I recommend the app because it allows you to keep doing other things without just waiting out front. The towns are so close together you could be out on a hike or doing whatever and make it back when you see you’re closer to the being sat. But I digress. The views from here are breathtaking and will likely be some of your prized photos from your trip to take back home to show friends and family. The photos you get during “the Golden Hour” really showcase how beautiful Manarola is, but it’s really beautiful any time of day. The environment here can’t be beat either. The staff works incredibly hard and does whatever they can to make you feel at home. The menu is mainly drinks and other light bites such as bruschetta. While it’s not your typical dinner food, it’s filling and delicious enough that you won’t miss anything while you’re enjoying the music, view and experience. We also took the pesto making class with Simone and it was an absolute blast. You go in before the restaurant opens and learn about and make pesto (which this area is known for!) all while being on a seaside cliff in Italy- how is this real life? I could go on and on, but if you’re going, just move this to the top of your list- you won’t be disappointed.

Take the pesto class!! So worth it! Simone the owner teaches the class and he's amazing! So personable and will tell you the story of how he started the restaurant. We went to the class on a Monday and there were 6 of us total, but we were a small class. To get to the restaurant you can go around underneath it where the viewpoint of Manarola is and then up some stairs and keep to the right. We were given an apron and the ingredients. Simone taught us all about them and the correct technique for making the best pesto. Our classmates had a glass of wine, and because we don't drink, we were made a special basil lemon sprite cocktail. Delicious! The class ended at noon and we then had lunch at the tables with the best view as the restaurant opened and other people came in. Everything was delicious and this class was a definite highlight of our trip to Italy.
