The gorgeous fishing port of Manarola is one of the five villages that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site of le Cinque Terre. The village's knot of tiny, multi-colored houses gripping on to the cliff for dear life, combined with the dazzling blue water of the sea below make for an unforgettable spectacle. With no cars allowed in the village, the best way to reach Manarola is by train either from the city of La Spezia to its east or from the seaside town of Levanto to its west.

It looks exactly just like in all of the postcards!!! None of these pictures have filter! Waiting for the sunset is so worth it!

The best viewing spot of Manarola of Cinque Terre. Time your arrival to the spot at sunset, it is great.

Favorite place among the CinqueTerre Spent almost half day here. The place is so good and so colorful to watch. Perfect place to swim, relax and taste best sea food.

One of five villages in Cinque Terre. The view is siMply gorgeous. The sea is the Mediterranean blue and many tourists enjoy swimming in the clear blue waters. The village buildings are old and colourful making photo taking like a picture book. Many restaurant and shops are open. You must visit at least 4 of the villages. The best way to enjoy Cinque Terre is to take a boat trip from La Special port to last village(€27). Start there and then take the train to the next village which only a few minutes ride. Train schedules are quite regular. While there, enjoy some nice Italian food, have a swim in one of the villages and followed by some gelato. Suggest to take the first boat trip at 9.10a.m or you can take the bus there. And don't forget to visit Porto venere.

This is one of the better viewpoints in Cinque Terre because of the easy access. A long stone ramp leads to this overview. From here and all along the way up you'll see the greatest view of Manarola. The city is perched omnipotently above the harbor and catches the setting sun perfectly. It's among the best views I've ever seen.

Such a beautiful place with amazing views. Accessible by train or by boat. We had an amazing sunset on the little settlement. Colours pop out and you really get a feeling of being out of this world. Given huge tourist numbers I would recommend it if season or during Covid restrictions in order to really get the magical feeling.
