This is the 1h30 min hike connecting Vernazza and Monterosso, and that is relatively easy. You will be able to enjoy beaufitul views over the sea and both towns! I love the scenery when you are close to the towns.

One of the most amazing things I have ever done. It's a very strenuous hike but worth it. The views are amazing. The toughest part is the initial climb out of the village. Once you get up about 400 feet its not that difficult. Wear good shoes and bring water and snacks.

Really nice and quite easy trail. Don't rush, there is no need to. Take your time. Great views on the way and some surprises. Worst part is that as it is a touristic place, you will most probably stuck a few times in the crowd. If you want to avoid that wake up early. Of course trail is paid, advisor in the booth will help you to chose the best ticket for your trip.

Great hike with amazing scenery. It took us 3h+ with rests and pictures. If you have the Cinque Terre card, it is free, otherwise it will cost 7 Euros per person. Whether you decide to go from Monterosso to Vernazza or the other way around, the start of the hike is a bit hard with a lot of stairs going up. The Vernazza-Monterosso direction can be a bit easier (still hard climb). Other than that, it was not difficult. Either way you can end the hike with a dip in the water.

Approximately 1,5 hours hiking trail. Great view points. Make sure to bring enough water (we had 0,75L water for 2, but 1,5L would have been better), get some comfy clothes and proper shoes. Lots of stairs to climb but definitely worth it! We did in in the 2nd week of August.

Highly recommend this hike trail! We did it with our two girls ages 5 & 6. The views were awesome! I can see experienced hikers taking over an hour to complete but with two little people it took us almost 2.5 hrs. Recommend to pack plenty of water, good shoes (we used our running shoes), snacks and charged phone for pics. Happy hiking!

Very crowded in off-season, it costs 7.5 euro/ person. It is a 3,5km km waiting line from Monterosso to Vernaza both ways. You get a nice view at the end but that you can get also if you go by train. Can't imagine how much worse it is in full season.

A path with very nice views but physically demanding. Many and very steep stairs and sometimes slippery. I would recommend this sentiero only to people that are used to challenging walks and wear good shoes. It‘ quite exposed to sun, so you might want to take enough to drink with you. Path gets quite crowded from april on!
