★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo visitato il museo perché compreso nel biglietto per palazzo ducale, altrimenti difficilmente l'avremmo visitato. Meritano sicuramente le tombe degli "amanti" e di un uomo con il suo cane. Si può agevolmente visitare con carrozzina o passeggino in quanto è dotato di ascensori. Unica nota negativa è che è un po' piccolo e il secondo piano è per metà vuoto quindi potrebbe essere sfruttato meglio.
 We visited the museum because it was included in the ticket for the ducal palace, otherwise we would hardly have visited it. Certainly deserve the graves of the "lovers" and of a man with his dog. It can be easily visited with a pram or pushchair as it is equipped with lifts. The only negative is that it is a bit small and the second floor is half empty so it could be used better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da non sottovalutare, è stato molto interessante. Ci sono reperti dal neolitico fino a dopo i longobardi: un piacere da visitare, soprattutto la parte Romana. Consigli di visitarlo in attesa dell'orario preciso per palazzo Ducale perché non richiede orari fiscali.
Not to be underestimated, it was very interesting. There are finds from the Neolithic to after the Lombards: a pleasure to visit, especially the Roman part. You are advised to visit it while waiting for the precise timetable for the Doge's Palace because it does not require fiscal timetables.

Museo ubicato nella centrale piazza Sordello.
Buona disposizione delle sale e delle opere. Collezione con tanti oggetti/reperti di grande valore storico e di epoche diverse tutti provenienti dal territorio mantovano.
Straordinaria la sepoltura degli "amanti di Valdaro" deposti l' uno accanto all'altro.
Visita più che soddisfacente.
Ingresso compreso con il biglietto visita al Castello San Giorgio.

Museum located in the central piazza Sordello.
Good layout of the rooms and works. Collection with many objects / artifacts of great historical value and from different eras all coming from the Mantua area.
Extraordinary is the burial of the "lovers of Valdaro" placed side by side.
Visit more than satisfactory.
Entrance included with the visit ticket to the San Giorgio Castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newly renovated but there will also be a second and a third floor in the future. Not too many exhibits, but interesting enough. The introductions are informative and professional enough, the only thing confusing is the order of the texts and the item boxes don't always match.
