E	Eurosplendid Impresa di pulizia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo sito archeologico poco conosciuto, manutenzione scadente, un vero peccato. Questa è storia, è il nostro passato. Raggiungerlo è parecchio complicato perché segnaletica quasi inesistente e se sbagli strada è più complicato tornare indietro. Bisogna armarsi di tanta pazienza perché ne vale la pena. Beautiful little known archaeological site, poor maintenance, a real shame. This is history, it is our past. Reaching it is quite complicated because signs are almost non-existent and if you take the wrong road it is more complicated to go back. You have to arm yourself with a lot of patience because it is worth it.
F	Flavio Gate on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All'interno dell'area archeologica si trova un piccolo museo (Antiquarium). I reperti non sono molti, ma sono ben conservati e protetti. Alle pareti sono affissi numerosi panelli con informazioni sull'antica Akrai. Probabilmente la visita all'area dovrebbe partire da qui, ma si è obbligati ad entrare da un altro punto, lontano, pur essendoci una strada e un cancello che conducono qui, dall'ingresso dell'area. Dietro il Museo si trovano i servizi igienici. Non ho trovato nessuno all'interno del Museo, tranne un simpatico cane custode, che si godeva il fresco. Inside the archaeological area there is a small museum (Antiquarium). The finds are not many, but they are well preserved and protected. On the walls there are numerous panels with information on ancient Akrai. Probably the visit to the area should start from here, but you are forced to enter from another point, far away, even though there is a road and a gate leading here, from the entrance to the area. The toilets are located behind the museum. I didn't find anyone inside the museum, except a nice guardian dog, who enjoyed the coolness.
D	Daniel Azzarelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le mie 4 stelle rappresentano una media: il sito archeologico è sicuramente una fondamentale testimonianza storica, gli antichi ci hanno lavorato per secoli e a loro vanno 10 stelle. Una stella, invece, per i contemporanei poiché il sito è gestito malissimo, manutenzione all'italiana: nessuna segnaletica, recinzioni che cadono a pezzi, piante infestanti che ricoprono tanti resti architettonici, cartelli esplicativi con errori ortografici e di scarsa efficienza esplicativa, grotte non illuminate, cestini dei rifiuti senza sacchi ecc. Non capisco come i nostri antenati siano riusciti a realizzare un teatro greco di tale portata tutt'oggi ancora intatto mentre i loro discendenti non sono capaci di realizzare nemmeno una recinzione che tenga. My 4 stars represent an average: the archaeological site is certainly a fundamental historical testimony, the ancients worked on it for centuries and 10 stars go to them. A star, however, for contemporaries because the site is poorly maintained, Italian-style maintenance: no signs, fences that fall to pieces, weeds that cover so many architectural remains, explanatory signs with spelling errors and poor explanatory efficiency, caves not lit, litter bins without bags, etc. I don't understand how our ancestors managed to create a Greek theater of such magnitude that is still intact today while their descendants are not able to make even a fence that holds.
