Il biglietto unico comprende pure il museo diocesano. Si scende sotto la piazza da una scalinata in pietra lavica ubicata sulla destra della facciata del Duomo. Appena entrati si rimane meravigliati dalla disposizione delle stanze e dal percorso incanalato del fiume Amenano. Unica pecca è trovare parcheggi in vicinanza, però se andate in piazza Borsellino " Alcalà" che dista solo 200 metri dal Duomo, probabilmente avete risolto il problema. Anche per i parcheggi riservati ai disabili è lo stesso disagio. If you are in Catania or you are just passing through, I recommend you visit the Achilleane Baths. Si accede da una scala affianco al Duomo e subito si è trasportati nel passato. Sono piccole ma rendono l'idea di cosa siamo state. Si vistiamo in poco tempo e non hanno vidoguide. Il costo del biglietto compreso visita alle terrazze e al museo del duomo è stato un di 6 euro dovuto al fatto che era un giorno particolare (sabato 8 gennaio 202). Visto il costo ne è valsa la pena visitarle. Sono comunque ben tenute ed è visibile anche l'acqua che scorre. The Achelliane spa are placed under the walkable level of the Catania Duomo. Ci si sentirà catapultati tra gli antichi romani che, tanto sono stati grandi, da lasciarci esempi di grandi architettura (tra cui queste terme) arrivati quasi intatti ai nostri giorni. Affascinanti i resti delle decorazioni sulle volte, permettono di scorgere ancora figure umane o vegetali rappresentate, lasciandoci immaginare la bellezza che questo luogo aveva. Il posto vale sicuramente la pena di essere visitato, certo, sarebbe il caso di renderlo più fruibile e interessante per i visitatori, magari con una breve visita guidata, materiale informativo idoneo o istallazioni.
