★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst scam I can remember of, terrible service and a total mess. To add insult to injury, they charged us 5€ just "for sitting at the table", I know it's normal here, but not that expensive (and you usually get bread for it). My boyfriend cant eat cheese and instead of preparing the dish he wanted without cheese, they offered a different sauce. When we got the bill, we discovered that this different sauce was 6€ extra. NEVER AGAIN!!!! The service is a disaster, they are rude, and they brought my food when my boyfriend had almost finished his.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where should I start? Unfortunately, we didn't check the reviews of the restaurant earlier and also this restaurant was the only one that was open so we decided to go there. The only advantage of this place is a tall, young and nice waiter. The food was bad. The pasta carbonara wasn't even looking as a carbonara. Grilled vegetables were quite good but the sardine it was a mistake... The prices are really expensive comparing to others restaurant near this one like for example restaurant Putia where the food is excellent and prices are really good! also it as really strange for me that I need to go to pay for food inside the restaurant! When I am paying 6€ for service I except to be served to the end! I don't recommend you to go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They charge 5 euros per person for service. However their service is the worst. Visited other Italian restaurants with better service at no extra cost. Main focus here is too sell as much as possible, as fast as possible. Would not recommend, rather discourage to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been in Catania for few days now. Can’t really tell if there is other place with so fresh and delicious food. For everyone looking for place to eat some local dishes, this is definitely the one. Great sea food, excellent pasta and very polite and nice atmosphere.
P.S. Can’t leave this place without ordering zuppa di cozze ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was tasty and location is great. However, the prices are high and the main issue for me was service. We were waiting for the bill for almost 40 minutes and asked for it 3 times. It looks like nobody cares once you ordered something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had pizza Regina for 11 eur. Too expensive for what you got. Service 3/5. Music 2/5. It's a tourist trap and this was the first time I didn't chech the reviews before sitting in the restaurant here because it looked nice and the waiter "pulled" me in.

My Italian husband loved this place and so do I. Amazing seafood, great pasta, also pizza, hands down Seafood! Lovely and quick service.
Quick feedback on some of the touristic reviews:
(1) this is a restaurant not a bar. Eat, don’t just come for a drink.
(2) pizza is good. This is a SEAFOOD place next to the fish market. Eat seafood ffs if you’re here and don’t expect a seafood restaurant to excel in all categories eg best pizza, best gelato. It’s h realistic. Don’t penalise a restaurant for your ignorance
