Cuore Fresco Catania (Piazza Duomo)

I had the "Veganbis" Burger which was very good. It tasted very fresh!

All out of plastic, even if you sit down (cutlery, glasses...). So bad for the Environment. Never had a bruschetta that bad before. And even if its recyclable why not just use normal plates and cups where you don't throw away after using?

This little gem is worth seeking out in Catania, especially if you look for vegan and/or Gluten-free choices! I was very impressed by this restaurant - considering that I'm not very much into the "healthy style" restaurants, but this one is outstanding - very fresh and tasty food for a reasonable price. Service was attentive and friendly, food is great and the decorations are very nice... Looking forward to going back & totally recommend this little restaurant to everyone!!! Edit: As I only return to the places that I like the most, it was the time to return to Sicily and, therefore, I had to return to Cuore Fresco in Piazza Duomo, Catania. Looking at the menu, I discovered that, apart from the healthy and tasteful sandwiches and salads, they are serving burgers now!!! My choice was the Sicilian burger (when in Sicily!!!), taking into consideration the ingredients - 200gr Piedmontese fassona hamburger, burrata cheese, crispy bacon, confit tomatoes, caramelized onion, pistachio cream, pistachio pesto, bread with sesame seeds (copied from their website). Now, I like to enjoy a gourmet burger from time to time, but this one was the Godfather of the gourmet burgers!!! Very tasty, full of local ingredients, but combined in manner that I wouldn’t think of… My wife had a delicious vegan Mumbo toast, served with rocket, orange and balsamic cream (triple toast, hummus, arugula, beetroot, dried tomato and almond pesto, grilled zucchini, avocado, red onion from Calabria), and the kids had mini burgers. The place was almost full, and I noticed that they are very strict with the pandemic regulations compliance - actually, they allow less people inside now. Since we discovered this healthy place, we enjoy going back there - our friends that followed our recommendation told us they liked their menu, since they offer fresh local ingredients, and as well vegan and gluten-free options. Keep your cuore fresco, Cuore Fresco! And see you guys next time!!!

Great place to eat something before lunch. Close to the centre but hidden away. The staff is very friendly and are more interested in you having a. Good time than making money.

Great location! It has everything perfect: great food, very good Prosecco, oat milk coffee, very friendly staff, great menu and seating tables & very reasonable prices. It’s a must eating breakfast/lunch here!

After 3 italian breakfasts, colazione, we wanted to find something more salty to eat in the morning and we found it! We went there for the rest of our holiday and I’ll surely come back if I ever go to Catania again.

I had the brunch combo 1: eggs, bacon, fresh tomato, fries, 2 slices of bacon, toast and added a mimosa for €5 more. It was definitely delicious and exactly what I needed, everywhere else was serving sweets for breakfast and I just don’t care for that and went in search of something more and was pleasantly surprised that they had breakfast and brunch menu until 1200! Thank you for the delicious food and amazing hospitality! We were immediately greeted by a very nice lady and sat us down right away. I would definitely return if I was in Catania longer but I do recommend if you do want something other than a sweet pastry and ice cream for breakfast, but they do also have that here, it just wasn’t what I came for. Also, the bus stop to the airport is just a 2 min walk away if you decide to stop here before going to the airport like we did.

I strongly recommend Cuore Fresco if you go visit Catania! ?? They are very hospitable, kind, involved and sociable and and their food is divine.???? 10 out of 10 for how it looks and 10 out of 10 for the amazing taste. ?? I recommend I recommend I recommend!?️ We are from Romania ?? and we can say that we loved eating there but most of it we enjoyed the atmosphere and the cozy place.
