Su localización puede echar para atrás ya que se encuentra aislado donde de día se sitúa el mercado de pescado, pero su cocina vanguardista y mobiliario de diseño moderno nos encantó. Lubina marinada h hamburguesa de pulpo nuestra elección!! Servicio amable atento y hablaba italiano e inglés. Octopus burger? YES, octopus burger! What a discovery this place ? Its location can be taken back since it is isolated where the fish market is located during the day, but its avant-garde cuisine and modern design furniture enchanted us. Marinated sea bass h octopus burger our choice !! Attentive friendly service and spoke Italian and English.

Les serveurs sont passionnés par leur sujet, suivez leurs conseils, les cuisiniers sont également expérimentés donc le combo est gagnant. Foncez car leurs plats sont très bons et abordables ?? Excellent restaurant to eat fish in different forms in a beautiful atmosphere! Scelta azzeccata. Personale preparato e molto disponibile a raccontare i loro piatti, la loro filosofia di rispetto per la natura. Burger di tonno (tartare tagliata a coltello) spettacolare arancino di pesce delizioso. Tutto servito in piatti riciclabili e compostabili come da loro filosofia. Bellissima serata. Prezzo corretto e giusto. Visit on 30-09-21. We were intrigued by the location of this restaurant, near the Catania fish market, and we decided to give it a try. Good choice. Staff prepared and very willing to tell their dishes, their philosophy of respect for nature. Tuna burger (knife cut tartare) spectacular arancino of delicious fish. All served in recyclable and compostable dishes as per their philosophy. Beautiful evening. Correct and fair price.

Coupled with an excellent Zibibbo "Integer" by Marco de Bartoli it is a unique dining experience. If you add to this, the opportunity to dine in the beating heart of the fish market of Catania, in a place immersed into wet lava stone, the sound of the water of the Amenano fountain and a flavour of, you will realize that you are living a magical experience. If you add to all this that Giovanfranco, the owner is a person of culture, with a unique grace; who, having taken care of every detail of his restaurant, you will understand that booking a seat to "Ancidda" (this is the real name imprinted on the door), is perhaps the best and most authentic way to discover the essence of Catania. Ps. The place is highly recommended also because Giovanfranco is also a man who love eclectic and bizarre things, This is the place to impress your partner organizing for him/her a dinner with Sicilian singers and music. A new way to live an unforgettable romantic night to share in a choral and popular way with alll the people in the square. Here starts, in my opinion, the new frontier of luxury.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We definitely recommend this place. Best dinners we had in Catania. It was truly a food trip!!!!!!

Especially that burger with pulled pork and burger with crispy fish and Asian souse and burger with seafood salsiccia. But the “die for” extraordinary tasty are tartar and carpaccio made from different fish, marinated or smoked. I really highly recommend to visit that place, as it’s in the heart of Catania city, it’s the historical important point of fish market and also it’s the most pretty looked location in the zone with stylish red canopy and tables outside. The service is really friendly and not intrusive. So, we will come back for sure. There are many dishes I haven’t tried yet in their menu.

The staff were very attentive and you can tell how much thought and attention went into every detail of the menu and the restaurant. However, the food speaks for itself. The carpacio and tuna tartare were excellent (with the tartare having a special 'wow' factor). And the fish burger. It was next level. Perfectly battered and fried. Light and airy inside. Perfect brioche bun. With an Asian style orange sauce that was the perfect sweetness. The wine list was excellent too - we really enjoyed the bio Lusenti sparkling white. With a little night cap of Amaro after it was perfection. I would come back to Catania just to eat here again.
