★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was ok but they screw you with the check. Also you cannot pay with bank card (they claim). Locals get much larger and richer portions. Would not go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent fish dishes, nice relaxed atmosphere, and good value for money: 112 euros for 3 with wine. Lost star as service was a touch abrupt, and toilets slightly basic. Would return for the food though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has to be the worst Italian restaurant experience I have ever had (and I have been to Italy over 40 times). No menu was ever given, no prices were ever mentioned, the service was terrible and then 2 1/2 hours later they tried to give us our order which we had cancelled. Then they charged us for it and tried to say that everything was OK because they gave us a break in the total price. Do not eat here, the service, food and restaurant is terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! Certainly recommend ordering a variety of items, there's quite a range of fish dishes. Don't expect super fast service - this is not how things are done. Do order either a starter +primi or a promi+secundi. Very good house red, but the wine that was recommended was fabulous.
€115+tip = lunch for 4 very stuffed people +baby, with a bit of drink. Incredibly fresh fish.
Overall we ordered-- mixed fried fish (eels, white bait, calamari, prawns,4-5*), swordfish rolls (stuffed with something, 5*), sardines "a baccicino" (fried sardines stuffed with parmesan, parsley, olives, and garlic, 5*), Main courses = 2x linguine with clams (good but a tad mild in flavour on the clam front when combined with the reduction of white wine and strong olive oil, 4*), "sea asparagus" spaghetti (samphire, prawns & coconut, AMAAAAZZZIIIINNGGG!! 6*!), and sea urchin linguine (pesto of sea urchins & prawns, so excellent taste, very good texture, definitely worth a try, 5*).
Left a healthy tip, and the main hit chased is outside to give us a jar of locally made marmalade as a thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst place in Catania. We were waiting for a chosen fish more than an hour and it was served cold and no tasty. Than they told us to pay €150 and after we complained we paid €140. No worth it, they don’t speak English, food is medicore.
