β β β β β Service is not very good: they forgot to add ricotta and olive oil to salad before serving it and fixed it right on our table. Waiting for food is longer than you usually expect. Food is usual, nothing special. Better chose Antica Sicilia nearby - same prices but much better service and food.

β β β β β Well the food is nice. The service is good. However the food is over priced. And the staff won't let us see the menu. Then the pasta turn out to be 25 euros each

β β β β β We've been passing by on the main square and this lady sold us the place by trying to give us "free service (coperta) and a free glass of wine" if we follow her, we did follow her, we got our seats and right after we sat down she disappeared. So the waiter didn't know about this promotion, so we didn't have what we were marketed and promised. The food overall was good, though the menu is quite huge there is lot of choice, most of the products in the menu are marked with a tiny *, which means it's frozen (congelato), I'm not saying it wasn't good, I had a fish steak, it was quite enjoyable. Though to follow up a huge menu like that they might freeze some unpopular products, for who knows how long. The staff and the owner was very kind and friendly.

β β β β β I was served with one of the tastiest plates of stuffed squid I have ever tried in Catania. The squid that I was served was cooked to perfection. The service was pretty good and the prices were all reasonable and fair. The waiting staff were very attentive and made sure that all of their customers are looked after. Ristorante Royal Ceres also had a real charm to it. Highly recommended!
