Lovely place that preserves its magic untouched! It stands on a cemetery carved into the rock! One nave has been completely destroyed by the earthquake of the late seventeenth century!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un luogo straordinario, perso nel tempo. Complesso architettonico e archeologico probabilmente unico nel suo genere, scampato miracolosamente al devastante terremoto del 1693. Attualmente visibile il portale tardo gotico caratterizzato da sculture policrome, due leoni sorreggono le colonne a cui si poggia il protiro.
Adiacente troviamo una necropoli paleocristiana.
An extraordinary place, lost in time. Architectural and archaeological complex probably unique in its kind, miraculously escaped the devastating earthquake of 1693. Currently visible the late Gothic portal characterized by polychrome sculptures, two lions support the columns to which the protiro rests.
Adjacent there is an early Christian necropolis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Très belle église ancienne mais surtout excellent accueil du guide qui donne des explications intéressantes (et ne vous emmerde pas avec le masque, le passe verde, le désinfectant....)et surtout qui est là tous les jours en plein hiver. D'autre part, la plupart des églises du village sont ouvertes à la visite ce qui est exceptionnel en ce moment en Italie. Donc ne ratez pas ce village.
Very beautiful old church but above all excellent welcome from the guide who gives interesting explanations (and don't bother you with the mask, the green pass, the disinfectant....) and especially who is there every day in the middle of winter. On the other hand, most of the churches in the village are open to visitors, which is exceptional at the moment in Italy. So do not miss this village.
