Vengo a conoscenza del museo africano tramite un articolo sui musei di Verona. Il museo é situato dentro alla sede dei missionari comboniani, in una zona di Verona molto bella e tranquilla, situata dall'altro lato del Ponte di Pietra. La signora che mi accoglie é stata gentilissima, ha praticamente aperto il museo per me e mi ha anche donato vari numeri della rivista dell'ordine, Nigrizia.
Il museo é nato come raccolta di oggetti che i missionari negli anni mandavano in Italia e ha subito una trasformazione d apochi anni in cui sj é strutturato con un percorso di visita diviso in base a vari temi. La collezione é molto bella e ricca ma il punto forte sicuramente sono le spiegazioni e i video che accompagnano in ogni sezione.
La stanza sulla musica è fatta oarticolrmente bene, si oossono suonare vari strumenti africani e il video é un piccolo gioiello.
Un museo piccolo e umile ma bellissimo e che racchiude una grande bellezza.
This museum is a hidden gem !!
I learn about the African museum through an article on the museums of Verona. The museum is located inside the headquarters of the Comboni missionaries, in a very beautiful and quiet area of Verona, located on the other side of the Ponte di Pietra. The lady who greets me was very kind, she practically opened the museum for me and also gave me various issues of the order magazine, Nigrizia.
The museum was born as a collection of objects that the missionaries sent to Italy over the years and has undergone a transformation of a few years in which sj is structured with a visit route divided according to various themes. The collection is very beautiful and rich but the strong point surely are the explanations and videos that accompany each section.
The music room is made oarticolramente well, you can play various African instruments and the video is a little gem.
A small and humble but beautiful museum that holds great beauty.

Very nicely designed and also informative. You can go to the afrikan for a good hour. immerse world. And there were really great Afrikan. Sayings on the walls (in Italian. Sorache).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small but wonderful museum. The staff there is very nice, you can ask all the questions and they will answer with details.
Before I go I know really little about African art and history only knowing it’s the origin of human civilization and the art influenced many western artists. After the visit, I got interested in the masks and furniture design of Africa.
