★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice bit of history right in Trastevere. It's a shame that it's fenced off so you can't get a closer look. I've never seen the gates open. Don't forget to see the two, must see, attractions nearby: Chiesa di San Pietro in Montorio and Fonte Acqua Paola.
