★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to visit this place, probably after the Vatican city because it's very close. Amazing view of the city, where you can see the Pantheon, vitorio Emmanuelle, etc. The hill itself plays a very important role during the battles for unified Italy. It is a must see place!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool monument! It is very large and has many cool carvings and brass sculptures along the sides. It has Remus and Romulus on it, who represent Rome. They are on the front side. Additionally, it offers a great view of Rome near by, and is worth a visit if you have any time!

The monument to Giuseppe Garibaldi is an imposing equestrian statue, which is sited on the highest point of the Janiculum hill in Piazza Garibaldi. It was designed by Emilio Gallori in 1895, and has been referred by the title "the Hero of the Two Worlds".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place, it's a very beautiful viewpoint ... spacious car park I can see the view of Rome in full.
But the sad thing .... this landmark is not maintained by the government ... there is a lot of trash everywhere that pass by, you can smell the pee in the tight spots as well as the surrounding safety.
I think the government should take care - improve it
