★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always love seeing the genius of Da Vinci. A nice small museum with beutifull duplicates and miniatures of his designs, many of which are the basis of many machines today. I wish some of the items were better maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum, but 100% centered on the maestro himself. The lower floor, dedicated to "hands on" experiments is perfect for kids (and curious adults alike, of course :D)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calling this a museum is a stretch: there’s almost nothing on the history of Leonardo’s life. Instead, there’s dozens and dozens of wooden models in various rooms — some you can touch, and most you can’t.
The interactive models are of the “here’s how a gear works” type, with some loose sketch of Leonardo’s notebooks.
It’s interesting to note how much war funded Leonardo’s research and innovations. The giant horse-drawn lawnmower of men would have been terrifying to see in practice.
This would be very good for kids, perhaps, and there’s an entire room just for them.
But for adults — it’s a trap!
