Amazing!! Especially the Egyptian exhibit. The museum occupies the Medici thoroughfare, so you are standing in history while looking at history. We were there for 2.5 hours and could have stayed longer. The staff were kind and very helpful. It was lovely.

The entrance to the Museum fits into the splendid setting of Piazza della Santissima Annunziata and the atmosphere is immediately pleasant and welcoming. The collections collect the best of archaeological finds found throughout Tuscany, as well as objects and works but also from Lazio and Umbria. In particular there are very important Etruscan and Roman objects and statues, an important Egyptian section and one of Greek vases, many of which were found in Etruscan tombs, bearing witness to the numerous trade exchanges in the Mediterranean. Among the best works, the fabulous Chimera d'Arezzo and the Statue of the Arringatore. The staff is friendly and willing to give directions to visitors. The impression one gets during the visit is to lift a veil of ancient civilizations that are part of our culture and that have contributed to the construction of our civilization

Despite saying on their website and on the door to the museum that they are open every Sunday of the month, it seems that they are only open on the first Sunday of the month. Very disappointing as I very much wanted to go and had payed for an uffizi ticket partially as it granta entry to the museum.

A museum with a good archeological collection, particularly Etruscan and Egyptian artifacts, but spoiled by uncontrolled groups of school children shouting and running, making it almost impossible to concentrate on what you are looking at. I would suggest they limit school groups to one at a time. By my count there were more than four and it was impossible to avoid them no matter what gallery or floor you visited.

Very good exhibitions about Ancient Egypt and Etruscians. A couple of items had Italian explanation, but lacked one in English. Toilets were hard to find, more signs would be nice.

Not bad, but after you see Uffizi, you may have no interest here. The Egypt thing are well presented, but scary for me.

Boring until you reach the Egyptian art section, which is fantastic!!! This collection is much better than in London or any other art museum I've seen so far in Europe and the US. Really impressive because it's big and looks almost like new! I don't know how it's possible but that's the fact. I haven't been to Egypt so I can't compare it to the original museums. The admission is included with your Uffizi ticket... Check the days of the week. Italians like to have closed days..
