1. Admission free for BOTH disabled guest and caregiver
2. Very helpful staff -needed to access toilet and 2nd floor.
3. Disabled toilet very clean though probably too narrow for power chair. Portable scooter (3-wheel Golden Lite Rider) was fine. Folding bar on left nothing on right. See pic
4. Narrow Elevator (staff offered option to transfer to traditional manual chair) for lift to 2nd floor to see Fra Angelico frescos. See pic

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ex-domenican convent hosting masterpieces of early renaissance painter Beato Angelico. Amongst the highlights are intricately detailed oil paintings, altar triptychs decorated with gold leaf, but also, impressively, 43 monastic cells decorated with individual frescoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really beautiful place. My advice is go early, the whole museum can be watched in 1hr 30min. Going on normal pace, you don’t need to rush, enjoy it.

Beware: the exit is on the opposite side of the building on Via Della Dogana
For my American friends: The CDC vaccination card is accepted everywhere instead of the European Green Pass

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This former monastery in Florence contains some excellent frescoes. Each of the monk’s cells were adorned with beautiful frescoes by Fra Angelico.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another amazing place to visit when in Florence. So worth it. Bought the tickets online on their website. Such a gorgeous galleria and atrio with tons of history withheld in it, from portraits to ancient journals, to sculputers and Christian arts made with gold. Well maintained. The staff was very helpful in answering any questions or curiosities we had.
