★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of interesting frescoes and paintings but the statue of David is spectacular! I would recommend using a guide to help explain details. It makes for a much more interesting tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing piece to admire. Take our time and really soak in the history and culture. I don't know what else to say except enjoy the beautiful piece of human history. Oh, and the statue is 15 feet tall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Much larger than i expected, roughly 8ft 10ft tall, some statues nearby still half embedded in the stone give you an idea of the process and the fear and tension there must have been when he was carving the statue to be free standing out of the rock. Good, and the queue system works well. Recommend you book online as the turn up and go queue was massive
