β β β β β Restaurant with nice view to the old city, to the sassi, but our impressions afterwards were not analogous. Whatever we tasted was average and the service was poor far beyond our expectations , employees could not really communicate in other language than Italian. Probably it was not their best day!!

β β β β β Sat outside, chose it only for atmosphere cause it was sunny and outdor seating.
No English menu, waiter with attitude, bread will be charged whether you requested it or not.
No GF options, so I ordered salad and baked potatoes. The salad was just (!!) a bowl of iceberg lettuce. They suggested olive oil and balsamic vinegar to add. Ok, but a salad is based on at least 2 ingredients. At least potatoes were ok.
Partner ordered pasta, also mediocre.
Do not recommend.

β β β β β Lovely place in Matera for a romantic dinner. The decor is rustic and charming, faithful to the Matera style. The food is delicious at a good price. Fresh pasta with all sort of flavours are brought in a timely fashion. A wide variety of wine is also available.

β β β β β An amazing place to eat. Great food and staff, especially Francesco was amazing with great advices on the typical food and wine to choose. We will come back for sure and we wish them all the best, as they deserve it!

I choose the vegetarian pasta (2 options of pasta pour the veggies) and it was really good.
The desert as well .. cream cheese with pear super fresh and tasty.
Staff super kind. We recommend :)

β β β β β Great restaurant with a beautiful view and a nice interior in a cave. The food was very good : we tried the cheese and salami board (delicious and big), the spaghetti with pesto and tuna (original and very tasty) and a nice tiramisu. The service was also lovely. We had a great time :)

β β β β β Is the second time we come across this place and itβs still a great choice. I ate octopus and spaghetti with clams and I enjoyed every bite. The service was kind and the place cosy inside of a cave.
