I can’t say this was 5 star in the expected sense, ie. it’s not a Michelin star restaurant, but I have to say it had prompt and friendly service, good food, great price and a fantastic view.
I haven’t been a fan of the food in Matera as I believe it falls short as compared to other places in Italy ( or I haven’t eaten at the right restaurants) so the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Our party of 4 all had pizzas and were impressed.
Go ahead, eat here. It won’t rock your world but you will get a great experience at a great price.
