★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima malga con personale cordiale e prezzi accessibili situata ai piedi dell'irta pendice utile per raggiungere poi, in successione, prima la malga Lahner e poi il rifugio Tridentina. Nonostante il tratto da qui in poi sia abbastanza impegnativo, il lungo tratto sterrato che collega Casere a questo rifugio è invece piuttosto bello e semplice costeggiando il fiume, popolato da mucche e pony e con delle radure ottime per i pic-nic e risulta pertanto assolutamente adatto a tutta la famiglia bambini compresi.
 Excellent hut with friendly staff and affordable prices located at the foot of the steep slope useful to then reach, in succession, first the Lahner hut and then the Tridentina refuge. Although the stretch from here on is quite challenging, the long dirt road that connects Casere to this refuge is rather beautiful and simple along the river, populated by cows and ponies and with clearings that are excellent for picnics and is therefore absolutely suitable for the whole family including children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si trova in un posto meraviglioso, ricco di ruscelli e circondato da una natura meravigliosa. Facilmente accessibile con una camminata non impegnativa, adatta anche a bambini. Buono il cibo servito.
It is located in a wonderful place, full of streams and surrounded by wonderful nature. Easily accessible with an easy walk, also suitable for children. Good food served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Io e la mia compagna abbiamo giusto preso un caffè ed una cioccolata calda; il voto alto è dato dal posto in cui si trova questa malga: il panorama e la camminata per arrivarci sono unici e dai panorami mozzafiato. Consigliatissimo.
My partner and I just had a coffee and a hot chocolate; the high rating is given by the place where this hut is located: the panorama and the walk to get there are unique and with breathtaking views. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La migliore tra le malghe che ho provato in Valle Aurina.
Staff (familiare) tutto al femminile molto simpatico e sempre a disposizione del cliente. Sulla qualità del cibo potrei dilungarmi ma in sintesi:
- il miglior gulasch mai provato in Sud Tirol
- un pane integrale appena sfornato che ancora me lo sogno
- crostata di prugne con un'ottima frolla
- la grappa al fieno molto leggera
Ci ritornerei volentieri.
Unico problema è che a mangiare così tanto poi si fa fatica a continuare la salita ?. La prossima volta devo andarci al ritorno dal tridentina.
The best among the mountain huts I have tried in Valle Aurina.
Staff (family) all female very nice and always available to the customer. I could elaborate on the quality of the food but in summary:
- the best goulash ever tried in South Tyrol
- a freshly baked wholemeal bread that I still dream of
- plum tart with an excellent shortcrust pastry
- very light hay grappa
I would gladly return.
The only problem is that eating so much makes it hard to continue the climb ?. Next time I have to go back from Tridentina.

Da qui solo sentieri.
Abbiamo preso solo un paio di dolci ma entrambi buonissimi.
Personale un Po lento.....però qui hanno ritmi più rilassati
Last hut first down the road.
From here only trails.
We only had a couple of sweets but both very good.
Staff a little slow ..... but here they have more relaxed rhythms

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimo posto raggiungibile facilmente dal parcheggio di Casere. Paesaggio suggestivo, tra i prati e il torrente Aurino. Ci si può stendere al sole. E i piatti tipici della Valle Aurina sono davvero deliziosi e ben curati.
Great place easily accessible from the Casere car park. Evocative landscape, between the meadows and the Aurino stream. You can lie down in the sun. And the typical dishes of the Ahrntal Valley are truly delicious and well cared for.
