K	Karlo Brandt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wenn man von Rein her durch das zauberhafte Gelltal aufsteigt und dann denkt es nimmt kein Ende mit den Bergen steht man irgendwann doch auf 2800 Metern und sieht plötzlich die Hütte. Zwar recht neu aber ursprünglich und auf das wesentliche reduziert, findet man genau das was eine Hütte braucht. Die Ruhe der Berge, die Herzlichkeit der Wirtsfamilie, ein gutes Essen und nen Glas Bier. Nen Apfelstrudel gibts natürlich auch! Gottfried und seine Frau Christl bringen einem ohne viel „Schnickschnack“ das schöne der Berge näher und bereiten einem eine tolle Zeit. So stellen wir uns das vor, weiter so!!!!! If you climb up through the enchanting Gelltal from Rein and then you think it does not end with the mountains you will eventually reach 2800 meters and suddenly you will see the hut. Although quite new but original and reduced to the essential, you will find exactly what a hut needs. The tranquility of the mountains, the warmth of the host family, a good meal and a glass of beer. Of course there are also apple strudel! Gottfried and his wife Christl bring the beautiful of the mountains closer without much "bells and whistles" and prepare you a great time. So we imagine that, keep it up !!!!!

Arrivare in questo rifugio è già una conquista. da qui si può salire nel cuore delle vette più alte del Gruppo Vedrette di Ries Excellent high mountain retreat. Reachable with long path. Getting to this refuge is already an achievement. from here you can climb to the heart of the highest peaks of the Vedrette di Ries Group
T	Torsten Othmer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recht neue und dennoch sehr gemütliche Hütte. Die Sechsbettzimmer sind auch bei voller Belegung groß genug und verfügen über eine Waschgelegenheit. Dusche und WC sind auf der gleichen Etage über den Flur zu erreichen. Die Gasträume sind von der Größe her noch angenehm, es entsteht kein Bahnhofshallen Gefühl. Abendbrot und Frühstück sind ausreichend. Trinkwasser muss allerdings in recht teuren Flaschen gekauft werden, von daher genug mitnehmen oder am Gletscher bzw. an vorhandenen Quellen auffüllen. Quite new, but very cozy hut. The six-bed rooms are large enough even with full occupancy and have a washing facility. The shower and toilet can be reached on the same floor via the hall. The size of the guest rooms is still pleasant, there is no feeling of a station hall. Dinner and breakfast are sufficient. However, drinking water has to be bought in quite expensive bottles, so take enough with you or fill it up at the glacier or at existing sources.
S	Sabine Sommer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr saubere, gemütliche Hütte. Leckeres Essen, äußerst freundlicher Hüttenwirt. Und die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich. Very clean, cozy cabin. Delicious food, extremely friendly host. And the view is indescribable.
P	Philipp Grafe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommende Bedienungen. Extrem liebe Menschen! Leider gibt es kaum Plätze unter freiem Himmel. Das Essen "beschränkt" sich auf Hüttenbasics - was angesichts der Lage aber keinen wundern sollte und ist sehr gut. Der Anstieg aus dem Antholzer Tal ist anstrengend und mit 1.500 Höhenmetern kein leichtes unterfangen. Very friendly and courteous service. Extremely nice people! Unfortunately there are hardly any open-air spaces. The food is "limited" to hut basics - which shouldn't come as a surprise given the location and is very good. The ascent from the Antholz Valley is strenuous and, with an altitude of 1,500 meters, not an easy undertaking.

Superata la forcella a 2800 metri finalmente si arriva al rifugio situato in un paesaggio davvero lunare. Ottimo pranzo e gestori gentilissimi. Rifugio molto ben tenuto di dimensioni contenute, non avendo pernottato non posso giudicare le camere ma ci tornerò di sicuro per starci almeno una notte e fare una gita sulle cime circostanti partendo da qui Beautiful excursion in a beautiful and uncrowded environment. After passing the saddle at 2800 meters, you finally arrive at the refuge located in a truly lunar landscape. Excellent lunch and very kind managers. Very well kept shelter of small size, having not stayed overnight I cannot judge the rooms but I will return for sure to stay there at least one night and take a trip to the surrounding peaks starting from here

Prima parte nel bosco, poi spiana, seconda parte su sentiero roccioso. Siamo rimasti solo per pranzo, no pernottamento. Arrived from Riva di Tures, path n.3. Marked 4h and 10, we arrived a little earlier without taking long breaks. First part in the woods, then flat, second part on a rocky path. We only stayed for lunch, no overnight stay.
