 The place is beautiful but the impossibility of being able to freely exploit its interior makes the refuge impractical.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A parte i pochi pendii ripidi, all'inizio del sentiero,per arrivare a Pianobello e poi un susseguirsi di visioni da favola per giungere " ndò pagghiaru ", capanna autoctona che era il riparo dei nostri avi, quando lavoravano la legna in alta montagna o facevano il carbone e dovevano " governare i fussuni " !
Apart from the few steep slopes, at the beginning of the path, to get to Pianobello and then a succession of fairytale visions to reach "ndò pagghiaru", a native hut that was the shelter of our ancestors, when they worked wood in the high mountains or they made coal and had to "govern the fussuni"!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio è chiuso ed è bene che lo sia perché a volte il territorio si infesta di animali umani fatti di mani e piedi x intenderci... che si credono di essere i padroni. Comunque se volete entrare a Piano bello ci sono iforestali- custodi che hanno le chiavi

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anche se difficile ad avere a disposizione il rifugio, l'accesso è libero facendo circa 600mt dal cancello. Ambiente immerso nella natura con panorami favolosi veramente bello. Ottimo per famiglie con bambini. Speriamo che non venga vandalizzato e che rimanga pulito
Even if it is difficult to have access to the refuge, access is free doing about 600m from the gate. Really nice environment surrounded by nature with fabulous views. Great for families with children. Let's hope it doesn't get vandalized and stays clean

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il rifugio non è solitamente aperto, ma l’area attorno è ampia, verde e pianeggiante. Tavoli e panche attorno alla casa sono un buon punto d’appoggio.
The refuge is not usually open, but the area around it is large, green and flat. Tables and benches around the house are a good point of support.
