★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an important stop if you want to see where natural wines are made. Located high on the slopes of Etna it’s hard to believe a vineyard is actually in this spot but here it is. Oh yeah, and the wines are really amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply wow! The owner showed us the vineyard and the millstone to end up with the wine tasting. We spent 4hours listening to him. The wine was super goodand we bought 4 bottles

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had the privilege of visiting Salvo Foti’s unique wine making facilities two times. The wine is by far some of the best we’ve ever tasted. The family is passionate about their work and gracious in explaining how wine is made there as it has been for centuries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great visit to Salvo's sanctuary mid/late May 2021. The vineyard was absolutely beautiful. Very grateful for Salvo's hospitality. It's evident he takes great pride and responsibility in caring for the ecosystem. Beautiful cellar. Enjoyed a tasting while Etna loomed in the background. Was certain to purchase a few bottles to enjoy back in Palermo—all great for summer and super versatile with food.
