Forti di allevamenti propri, gli attivissimi Fratelli Sciuto sono veramente una miniera di carni ottime, tagliate ad arte, condite di suggerimenti sui tagli e le cotture. La fama di questa macelleria si è sparsa al di là della zona e non è raro vedere persone che, anche venendo da lontano, uniscono "il dilettevole al dilettevole" per fare una scappata a Milo e sull'Etna, assicurandosi una gustosa riserva di carne, salami, gelatina ("zuzzu"), involtini, formaggi locali, etc. Forse il livello massimo è raggiunto dalla straordinaria salsiccia, condita o no. Si può anzi dire che i "figli d'arte" di Turi Sciuto, benemerito macellaio degli anni '60, siano divenuti una delle principali attrazioni dell'incantevole paesino di Milo. Una chiacchierata con gli avventori, una lezione di taglio con Vito, una succulenta discussione con i maestri Alfio e Andrea, un sorriso di Giovanna e Giusy, e il miracolo è compiuto! Ho acquistato la salsiccia e la gelatina. Devo dire che entrambi prodotti erano buonissimi. Historic butcher shop in the central Via Etnea of the municipality of Milo.
