★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got destroyed by the "Fabio"!! In Impiccetta they have 3 different sizes of pasta: Small, Medium and Fabio (Large). Don't even think that you can finish 500g of pasta by yourself but it's worth to try and maybe earn a cool t-shirt with "I made it!".
Some places do this food challenges to hide a not good quality but this is not the case. The quality in Impiccetta is remarkable and excellent! The recipes are real Roman style! Food is great, portions are big and the prices are cheap. Really what else you can ask?
Just book in advance because is one of the best place to have a proper Roman and Italian pasta!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, HUGE portions and really friendly staff - they squeezed us in without a booking. My favourite place we ate in Rome for the simple set-up, really fantastic food and reasonable prices. We had the Amatricana and the Oxtail pastas - both amazing flavours but, be warned, the ‘medio’ sizes will leave you rolling out the place. Also tried the zucchini frite and the prosciutto and mozzarella to start. Book in advance to avoid missing out on this gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had been searching Travestere for a restaurant with both authentic pasta and a local atmosphere. Impicetta gave us all of that and and more! We loved our drinks (house red and Aperol spritz) and our bruschetta sampler. We got two medium pasta which were absolutely fantastic. We would get the small size next time - we could barely finish half of it. Overall, a great date night spot - would recommend to anyone!

The quality of the pasta is perfect. The floral spice of the pepper is just amazing.
The cheese is magnificent. I've eaten this dish before. But here, Trastevere, the Impiccetta's Cacio e Pepe is just wonderful.
Serving it over a plate made of cheese was an unexpected surprise.
Drink a lot of water during and after eating this.
100% recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, great staff, good prices. Some of the pasta was a bit 'too' al dente, but the staff was super reactive and attentive and offered to replace the dish. The portions are massive though, so don't over-order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved it here! They have such good food. Portions are a little too big for a normal person :)) we ordered the medium pasta portion and were not even close to finishing it. :) Also, please make a reservation. Don't need to call, just walk there a a few hours before and ask for a table.
