★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware of booking with Paolo of Boutique Domus during Covid! We have had a terrible experience with Airbnb and Paolo, the host at an Airbnb Plus Rome Trastevere apartment. When our flights were cancelled due to Covid, we managed to contact Paolo the same day - which was on day 30 - but it was evening, so we were technically after the noon cut-off for a full refund. Not only did he refuse to accept our date change request (despite having plenty of availability), but he then refused to give us a full refund, which looks to us like a quick cash-grab. Airbnb has been a receptive listener but has been unable to help in any way. An unfortunate experience when so many other hosts are bending over backwards to encourage travel!
