β β β β β Really don't know what to say... You'll find a cheaper and tastier lunch in ROME. My girlfriend and I stopped for a sandwich - exclusively meat filled by the way, no bother for me, but no vegetarian options - and opted for the Panino Prosciutto Crudo. For 5β¬ we literally received a few slices of prosciutto between 2 slices of rock hard bread, no salad, nothing special, and incredibly disappointing. Yes, I know this is literally what a sandwich is, but for 5β¬, the quality was appalling.
Service was no better, waitress stood at our table and waited for us to order the moment we sat down, without saying a word... We hadn't even looked at the menu. When we said we needed 2 minutes, she was visibly annoyed.
Comparably, all the restaurants are expensive in Monteriggioni, hence the 2 stars, but I can only speak for this one. Avoid it.
